Hi
We have a Ford Explorer that has had issues with the engine light coming on. A couple of years ago all the oxy sensors were replaced. This didn't actually fix the issue but changing the fuel to 95 did. We have done only approx 10000 km since (only used for towing) and now have the engine light on again with idling issues. The local garage did a diagnostic and said it was the fuel mix too rich. Advised that the auto electrician could get more info on their diagnostic machine so was sent to them. We have been charge both the $45 diagnostic fee and 1.25 hrs labour from the auto electrician to tell us that the bank 2 oxy sensor is showing a fault code. Surely running a diagnostic test does not take 1.25 hours! We also asked for a print out of the error code but were advised they don't print just show on the screen. But they haven't given us the actual error code either.
We are going to take the car back to Ford Fairview as they replaced the oxy sensors in the first place but don't actually think those are the issue.

What are your thoughts on how long it should have taken the auto electrician to run the diagnostics check?
