Dear Madam/Sir,
There are two problems about my car. First, there are some sound of friction coming from the underside of the car( not the engine) , it was first heard when i released the accelerator. I checked the underside of the car and found that a cover was loosen. I went to a mechanic and he said that the sound might be come from that loosened cover. He said the cover was used for preventing snow's stuff as it s so cold in Japan and he removed it. After that i have found that the sound is still there but at a lower volume and less frequent. There leaves me a doubt about what s wrong there. Second, the ABS warning had been on twice in these two months, but it s off once i restarted the engine.
For those problems i mentioned about , do u have any idea about what s going wrong? Are they related? And do u think i should go for a inspection? If i go for a inspection in AA, may i choose the free safety inspection or pre-purchase inspection for that?
Thanks a lot!
Chi

Hi Chi,
I recommend you take your vehicle to an Auto Service centre to get those items specifically checked. All the other inspections you mentioned are not designed to tell you what the cause of the fault is and how much it will cost to fix.

Hi Cade,
So how much does it cost for the specific check?
Cheers
