I am looking at buying a 99 Toyota Harrier 3000cc with V6 petrol engine and am wondering if these have a cam belt or a chain?

From what I can see, it looks to be driven by a cam belt. You may need to speak to the manufacture for exact replacement intervals, but usually they would need replacement every 100,000kms.
