I have just bought a 2007 Toyota Avensis from an Auckland car dealer. I had paid and secured the car. While they were grooming and servicing it, someone left the lights on and the battery died. They then jump started the car bit they did it the wrong way and have caused damage to the what is believed the computer which controls the EFI. They are currently in the process of having this repaired. What I want to know is, once the computer is replaced, will it be okay or is it likely to never be goof again and continue giving issues??
I love the car, it was perfect for me and would love to keep it, but if it will never be the same then ??
