Having just purchased a newly imported 2006 Fielder SW which has done 44,000 km, should I have the radiator removed and fully checked and cleaned or is the AA pressure test adequate to determine the radiator condition

Hi there, if the cooling system and antifreeze is in good condition and not brown and muddy looking, you may not need to. But if the coolant is looking dirty, or the plastic radiator tanks are faded/ cracking then yes definitely get the radiator checked, it could be an indication of sludge build up or the radiator showing signs of old age.
