We have a 2012 hyundai ix35 elite Diesel. When it is either raining, post raining or wet if you put the breakes on hard the front RHS seems to jam up & a grinding noise is heard & you can feel it through the pedal. It doesn't seem to happen in the dry. This gas got worse since we brough it from the hyundai dealer over the last month's. Also I believe we have consumer rights that the hyundai dealer should fix it at their cost as it was Warrenter by them, your advice please

Hi there,
It sounds to me like your ABS might be activating, especially if you are braking fairly heavily in the wet (more so than in the dry). The ABS system, when activated will make grinding noises and the brake pedal will pulse at the same time, which you may never actually experience unless you have ever had to apply the brakes hard in an emergency stop. It is perfectly normal, and the system is designed to do this.
In the wet, your tyres will have less braking traction and would cause the ABS to activate sooner than in dry conditions.
However if you have concerns, take the vehicle back to the dealer, and demonstrate the scenario and see what they say.
