Looking at purchasing a 2003 Mazda Axela 2.0L with a CVT transmission. The car has 148,000km on the clock. Are there any known issues with these vehicles.

Hello I do not believe the 2003 Mazda Axela came in a CVT version in 2003 ?, In my experience I have not herd of any major issues with this car and it has had a generally good report. a regular automatic transmission is sometimes considered desirable particularly if carrying a heavy load.

Thanks for the advice. When did the CVT transmission come out in the Mazda Axela - was it 2004? If this is the case are there any known issues?
