Please read the following terms carefully – signing up to AA Senior Driver means that you agree to these.
You can sign-up to the AA Senior Driver programme if you:
- hold a driver licence
- are at least 74 years old
- are an AA Member
- have a valid email address
Each individual AA Membership (including Associate Memberships) is eligible to access AA Senior Driver once every two years.
The free coaching session will be conducted in your own vehicle.
You must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to change a booking; you can do so by contacting your driving instructor directly.
You can bring a friend to observe the coaching session but this person MUST NOT contribute or participate in the lesson dialogue.
Arrangements for future lessons etc can be discussed directly with your instructor.
What you must bring to your coaching session:
- Your AA Senior Driver voucher (this will be emailed to you)
- Driver licence
- AA Senior Driver flyer (if you don't have one this will be provided for you)
- Corrective eye wear (glasses or contact lenses), if they’re required as a condition of your learner licence
- Appropriate driving shoes
The booking system handles allocation of coaching sessions; once a booking has been placed, it will refer you to the next available instructor. If you know which instructor you would like your coaching session with or wish to change, then please contact the AA Driving School on 0800 223 748 and we will see what we can organise for you.
Vouchers are for the AA Senior Driver programme and the named recipient only – they cannot be transferred.
When you have completed your sign-up for AA Senior Driver online, a confirmation email will be sent to you with your free coaching session voucher attached.
Your voucher is valid for 60 days from issue (the date you submitted your booking).
Vouchers cannot be redeemed after the expiry date.
