Entries reviewed

Entries are currently being reviewed by a judging panel made up of the organisations that work together to make road patrols a reality - AA, NZ Police, NZ Transport Agency and SASTA. 

Winners selected and contacted

The Prize Winners will be selected by 14 August 2026 and contacted by phone from Monday 17 August.* 

Prizes awarded

The prizes will be arranged directly with the winning schools.

The judges will select the prize winners at their sole discretion and will evaluate nominations from Eligible Entrants with reference to, but not limited by, the following criteria: 

Strength of nomination - How the school would use the $10k grant to improve safety for students and/or the community, and how great the impact of the grant would have on the winning school.
