What you get extra with AA Plus
AA Plus upgrades your Membership to a more comprehensive level of roadside assistance, offering additional help when breakdowns are more complex or take longer to resolve.
Here's how the extra cover works
AA Plus includes extended towing, trailer and caravan towing, and increased locksmith cover wherever you are. If you're more than 100km from home and your vehicle can't be fixed that day, you'll also have access to further support benefits, including a rental car, alternative transport, and accommodation.

We'll help get your broken-down vehicle (plus the boat trailer, caravan or trailer you were towing) home or to the nearest repairer.
Higher locksmith contribution
If we can't unlock your vehicle for you or your keys are lost, we'll contribute $150 towards a locksmith.

Yes. AA Plus is a premium upgrade from a Standard, Associate or Youth Membership.
If the vehicle you're travelling in breaks down while towing a caravan or trailer, towing assistance may be available, provided the vehicle and trailer/caravan meet the applicable size and weight limits (up to 3.5 tonnes, 2.44m wide, 3m high and 7m long).

AA Plus is designed for when a breakdown is more disruptive, especially when you’re further from home and need extra support to continue your journey.
Yes. You can choose to remove AA Plus when your AA Membership is up for renewal.
If you regularly travel long distances, AA Plus is the better option. It includes extended towing and extra support such as rental car, accommodation and alternative transport. Standard Membership still provides everyday roadside assistance, but AA Plus gives you more support when you’re further from home.
