Could you please recommend replacement tyres for a 2003 lancer GL?

I understand that the originals were specifically designed for that model. Ride and roadholding are my main concerns.

won't pretend to be a tyre expert here Bill. I'd much rather see you discuss the options with either a Mitsubishi agent or tyre retailer.

It's quite possible the tyres originally fitted were designed for the vehicle specifically, but Mitsubishi agents may have experimented with alternatives that could offer the combination of ride/roadholding you're looking for.

A tyre retailer will also be able to make some worthwhile suggestions, although they'll only be able to offer brands they stock.
