Hi, I am needing to upgrade my car. I am looking at spending between 9-12k, however could go a touch higher if needed. I am looking for a 4 door car, ideally with decent boot space. It appears the best options are Mazda demio, axela and alteza, Toyota fielders, blade, auris and Nissan juke. It appears I should be able to get a 2008 to 2013 models depend on car.

Are there any other cars you would recommend? Also any potential issues with the cars I am considering? Also from reading it appears Cvt becomes less of an issues once you get 2009 and newer is this the case?

Hello the top recommendations would be the Demio , Blade, Auris or Fielder,
We have not received much negative feedback on these models,
CVT's are improving however it really depends on their application for example CVT's are still not ideal for towing.

Hi Ian, thanks for that. What is the best way to tell if a car is cvt.

Also we have now looked more at some cars and feel that the demio, auris and blades do not have enough boot space for our future needs. Other than the fielder what would you recommend? Thanks
