My daughter has recently purchased a Mazda Verisa. It will require 4 new tyres. She has a fixed budget and has been offered two brands of tyres from two different companies.
The two brands are:
Horizon - I see an older AA Q&A which seems to say steer away from them.
Supercat - ??
Both were offered at $89 per tyre including fitted, balanced & old tyre disposal.
What are your thoughts on these brands?
Is there another mid range brand that offers value for money while being safe?

Supercats are a very good "branded" entry level tyre used by Bridgestone/ Firestone.
