Hi there.
I am being asked to pay $1250 for "Motor Registration - New/Transfer" on top of the purchase price for my new Hyundai Kona Electric.
This seems rather steep and I have asked for a break down of those costs.
Can you advise if this is fair for a new electric vehicle for private use?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice.
Hi there,
This sounds like a normal "on-road" cost for a new vehicle at a dealer. There is not really any industry standard rules for these fees with regards to costs and what is or isn't included in them.
