Hi there,

I'm going to be selling a car to someone who holds an international car license. To transfer ownership online I believe it requires the drivers license details, can this be done also with an international license?
If not how do I go about completing change of ownership?

Hi there,
The seller part is free and can be completed online, you only need the buyers name and address. The buyer (if they have an overseas license) will need to physically visit a centre and change the vehicle into their name and pay the transfer fee., instead of completing online. https://www.nzta.govt.nz/online-services/
