Hi
A car sales person has told me that the Mazda 3 and the Mazda Axela are essentially the same car. But I have a comment from my son who says that while the body might be the same, the engine and other parts are different and inferior?

Hi there,
The thing is that there is very little information available on Japanese domestic spec vehicles, and all we can go by is the NZ new and what spec the NZ Distributors have selected. And we have found that in comparing NZ vs Used import- that there are often different levels of safety equipment, powertrains, and no ANCAP safety tests/ratings.
