Hi Guys,
I was interested in this car on trademe https://www.trademe.co.nz/2985342471 being sold by a dealer so did a bit of research on it. I rang my local BMW dealer and they sent me a copy of the service history, which revealed the cars odometer had been wound back. In July 2019 in Singapore, it had an odometer reading of 129905km
The border check here, in Jan 2021 reports it as being 77400km. The ad says 77500km. So it has been wound back over 50000km. My question is, who can i report this to? I'm obviously not going to buy it but don't want anybody else to get burnt!!
Thanks, Neil.

Hi there,
You might need to speak with the NZTA and the Commerce Commission about your findings. You would need to make sure you are getting the vehicle details direct from the vehicle chassis plate to be certain.
