I need some helping make a decision between buying petrol v diesel Mazda Cx5. I was all set to purchase a diesel model until I starting Googling. If I'm only going to be doing daily urban driving, how do I stop the diesel problems cropping up? Or am I best to find a petrol model.

In diesel vehicles equipped with a DPF filter, issues can arise when the nature of driving doesn't allow the filter to regenerate (super heated burn-off). Which happens with extended highway type driving. If you are only travelling short commute trips, then I would recommend a petrol vehicle.
