Hi, I’ve been looking at purchasing a RV/SUV for ease of getting in and out of the vehicle and for road trips down the line. I came across the Nissan Dualis (used and imported). I wanted to check the safety rating of this vehicle but could not find any information on it. Are you aware of any safety concerns for this type of vehicle? In terms of repairs would it be costly? (I’ll be having the vehicle serviced regularly to keep maintenance costs down which would hopefully help here). Do you think this car is ok for the long road trips? Look forward to getting your advice.

This model is called Dualis in Japan, but Qashqai in New Zealand and Europe. While the original Qashqai is not listed on ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Programme) website - most likely because it wasn't tested in our part of the world, it is listed on the European NCAP website, and received a 5 Star rating.
It's a good model, with a good reputation for reliability and would be fine for open road trips.
