Hi, I'm looking to buy a Corolla-sized used car, up to 4 years old with less than 50k on the clock, and under $20k, preferably NZ new. The Honda Insight appears to be a good deal - some Honda dealers have stock that matches my criteria and are offering 3 years warranty on the car and 5 years on the batteries. My concern is that in a couple of years it might be hard to sell and after 5 years I'll have a valueless piece of expensive junk on the driveway. Any thoughts on that aspect? Apart from Insight & Corolla I am also looking at Focus and Mazda 3, but the Europeans e.g. Golfs and A3s look too expensive.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi there,
Sounds like you are talking yourself our of the Insight. If a Hybrid is not for your needs.
My pick of these vehicles would be the Mazda3. These cars are currently very popular and are at a good price. The Mazda3 was last years nz car of the year.
