LS1-HQ

I have done an engine/trans swap and am having trouble with universal joint working angles, I have test driven and is a very small vibration on deceleration from 110ks down to 97ks ( tested on private road) is this ok as speed limit is only 100kph.
angles are trans 4.2 deg down, shaft 0.7 deg down pinion 0 deg
is their any legal requirement of angles for certification.
car is not lowered and have just fitted new universal joints

Hi there,
I'm not aware of specific angle requirements, but you may need to make sure that all the universals can move freely as some can be a bit tight after replacement. You may also need to get the shaft balanced to make sure it's not out (a bit like a tyre).
