Hello
Need some advice please. I am looking at a Nissan Pathfinder 2017 as an option for towing my boat and moving the family around. I have read all the forums around the issues these cars had with the CVT back in 2013/2014, its hard finding details if these have been fixed with a later models like the 2017, another question would be should I stay away from towing heaving loads with a CVT transmission. Thoughts please? Thanks!

As this car is potentially still covered by manufactures warranty, we don't really hear of any issues till later on if there are any issues and the owner is no longer receiving assistance from the dealer. So nothing heard about these vehicles. But in general it is not advised to tow heavy loads with a CVT transmission, and most CVT vehicles don't have a very high tow rating listed.
