I've recently purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 and now find I've developed foot tendonitis/fasciitis from pressure required to be placed on to the acclerator (I'm a fairly petite female). I've done everything to get comfortable but still experiencing problems. Can the acclerator be "softened" so that I dont need to apply so much pressure through the foot and ankle ? This is crippling me on longish car trips - which is why I brought the car. I'll lose a lot of money if I have to trade it in for something else. Thanks for any advice you are able to offer.

Hi there,
It might be best to seek advise from Mazda on this one as they would be best to know the system and f any modification can be made. You may also be able to enquire about adding a hand throttle setup if your leg gets too bad.
