My Honda CRV is still within its new car warranty period. Occassionaly the radio jumps off a preprogrammed station. Should this radio problem be covered by the new warranty?

Yes, I would have thought so however, it sounds like the challenge is going to be getting the radio to play up while in the hands of the Dealer.

They are often very reluctant to simply replace or in this case remove the unit for repair without experiencing a problem firsthand which you can't really blame them for.

At least the fault should be noted on their files if nothing else. This covers you if the problem becomes more obvious once the car is out of warranty.
