We got a HONDA ODDYSEY 1998 Jap import the check engine light have come on. Earlier in the year I bought a fault code reader at REPCO now I'm trying to find the OBDII connector for the reader in the car but it seems that they have managed to hide it very well or do HONDA not using the standard 16 pin connector on their Jap built Oddyeys?

Our information is indicating the connector is located on the L/H side of the centre console.

Take this is information in the spirit it is given as used imports are renowned for springing surprises, so no guarantees.

Hopefully the equipment you have will connect, and read any fault codes stored in the computer’s memory.

For the home handy man it’s often best to let the Dealer scan the computer with their specific tools and then tell the owner what the problem is.

Be careful just what you are poking wires into John.
