I have a Nissan Pulsar Cj1, and in my last WOF (not in the previous 2 with the same headlights but different garage) they took off my blue headlights. Were they illegal? The lights were white on low beam setting, but if the lights weren't on properly (I think that's the fog light setting) they were blue. Using just the fog lights is illegal anyway, so I thought it was strange that they decided to confiscate them. Were they just looking to get a nice pair of headlights from me for free?

The law states that no blue light is permitted to show (either front or rear), so while you will not be issued a WOF with blue lights, the WOF inspector has no right to confiscate them from you.
