AA put out these guarantees not long ago. I am wondering whether AA aurhorised repairers are also under the same type of guarantees...

I think you are talking about AA Insurance, who offer a lifetime guarantee on crash repair work. Obviously, when mechanical repairs are done, no-one can offer a lifetime guarantee. Not even a brand new car gets a lifetime guarantee on mechanical items.
