Hiya,
I recently got my car washed, and the people out there somehow got wax all over the windscreen. The vipers now make a terrible sound. I have washed the car again. Let it stand out in the rain, used glass cleaner..nothing seems to improve it. I can see clearly now, the rain is gone..but the problem still persists!!

Generally speaking, wax on the windscreen has the opposite effect; ie; the wipers glide smoothly over the screen but they smear and wont wipe clearly. As you've gone to great lengths to clean the screen I'm wondering if the blades may be the problem. It is possible that the cleaning fluid that the groomer used has affected the wiper blades, and they may need to be replaced.
