Do you have any experience in how to get a CV joint hub nut off. I have tried and failed and have even got my 120kg brother onto it, and it still won't budge.

Plus, I have bent and broken two lever bars in the process. The car is a Mazda Eunos 500.

In a worst case scenario the nut may have to be split but I suspect this will be only half the battle as the joint may be frozen into the hub itself. I am assuming you want to remove the joint.

Often garages will use what is called a 'rattle gun' which operates off compressed air and really 'attacks' the nut with instant and direct force.

The power bar you are using is probably not suited for this type of work to be honest and you are getting more twist on the bar than direct force.

Maybe a job best suited for your local garage.
