Does the 2002 Nissan March cam belt need replacing at about 100,00 km

All the information available to us indicates that this car has a chain, not a belt, so no need to change it.
However, if it is a model from a market we are not familiar with that is fitted with a belt, then it is way overdue on time, if only just there on mileage.
Most manufacturers recommend changing the cambelt at around 100,000km or 5 years, whichever comes first.
