I'm hoping to buy a fairly low-k's Honda Jazz with manual transmission. On Trademe I'm starting to notice one or two imported ones which are 1500cc and manual. I'm a bit puzzled, because I thought all of these cars were 1300cc, and that the imports were all automatics, probably CVT. Do you know anything about these 1500 manuals? Would there be any issues with them? Thanks for your help. Bert Jackson.

The specification of domestic market Japanese cars (imports to us) will often vary from NZ New. However, the Honda 1.5 engine enjoys a good reputation, as does the manual transmission, so we'd have no hesitation in recommending this combination - unlike the Jazz with the CVT, which is known to give trouble.
