Hi, I just bought a 1996 toyota caldina. the air conditioner works fine, but there is no heat when the heater is on, only cold air blows out, so it does not run from the radiator as I had a 2 hour drive home.

The heater works from a separate radiator that is located inside the vehicle. There could be a problem with the selector cable or possibly the coolant pipes that run into the firewall, to the heater radiator, could have been disconnected at some stage due to another fault. If you bought this vehicle from a dealer you should contact them to have the problem resolved.
