How much would it cost to convert a car (98' Mazda Familia) from Petrol to LPG.

You could expect to pay upwards of three thousand dollars if it was a straight forward conversion.

You would also need to commit to long time ownership as I don't believe the car would be easy to sell with this conversion fitted. Add to that the time it would take to recover the installation costs.

These types of conversions are best suited to high mileage users and bigger vehicles where the payback period is much quicker.

Remember you don't go further on a litre of LPG in comparison to petrol, it's just cheaper.
