The dash light on my Toyota Camry is warning me there is a fault with the stop lights. It often comes on and stays on even though both bulbs seem to be working fine.
Is this a sensor fault or something else?

I think the problem is a faulty bulb due to a cracked filament. It's possible that contact is being made at times and not others.

If you take the bulbs out and compare their colours (one may be darker in colour) or tap the bulb I'm sure you will find one faulty.

I recommend you replace both bulbs at the same time.
