I have a 1997 Toyota Trueno, and I've noticed a few months back (but didn't do anything about it) that my steering wheel will start to shake when I hit about 90-100km/hr. What's wrong with it?

Sounds to me like you have a wheel balance problem. This can happen if a wheel weight has been dislodged from one of the front wheels or a wheel has been bruised in some way (coming in contact with a kerb for example).

Most if not all tyre stores offer a 'while you wait' balance service and the costs are minimal. Costs can start to escalate however if a wheel alignment check is recommended at the same time, or if the tyres are worn and need replacing. Always ask for an explanation that you are comfortable with before agreeing to any on-selling.
