I've just bought a Nissan Pulsar K1. There is no indication of when the cambelt was last replaced, do they have a belt or a chain?

Your engine, like many other Nissan models, runs a timing chain and there are no recommended replacement intervals. Great for reduced service costs. Many other manufactures are converting over to chains as new models are released.

Don't forget those regular oil and filter changes - every 12 months or 10,000kms will be fine.
