Toyota replaced the blades and also gave the whole wiper setup a once over (cost $120) but they still stick sometimes when you turn them on. It only takes a nudge to the wiper blade to get them going and then they are ok. I have googled the fault, but nothing concrete apart from some wiper motors don't like the cold or wrong blades? Our blades are Toyota supplied and stop working any season of the year. Thank you

It may sound a ridiculous thing to say but one of the things I would check is the windscreen surface itself.

Make sure the glass is as clean as possible and free of any unwanted film. Pay particular attention to where the wipers actually park themselves when switched off.

Often garages overlook the glass when they change the blades and problems soon return.

Apart from that I would go back to the Toyota dealership concerned and let them have another look (initially at no cost to you). They should be able to make contact with their HO technical support team and pick their brains as a last resort if necessary.
