We have a 2012 Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, Japanese import. It has now done 61000km and we're thinking of getting the CVT serviced. However we've been given conflicting advice. One place said filters and fluid should be replaced every 50k km, and another one said it never needs servicing as it's sealed for life, so only touch it if there's a problem. There isn't a problem. What does AA advise? Thanks

Hi there,
It would be best to speak with a Nissan dealer or a transmission specialist as to what is preferred. Some transmissions are classed as "fill for life" but the intended life of a vehicle may only be around 7-10 years and so with that in mind a service may be recommended.
