Forum Fuel and economy 95 or 98 Petrol for 2007 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon Sedan 2994cc / 3.0 L Engine ?

Hi Tech Team,

Trust you are doing well.

I have recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon Sedan 2994cc / 3.0 L Engine. It is a fresh import from Japan and it's odometer reading is 83000Kms.

I had 2 questions:-

1) Should I be using 95 or 98 Petrol for this vehicle?

2) Which gas station would you recommend? I normally fill in 91 petrol for my Mazda Demio at BP and have felt that BP's 91 petrol gives better fuel efficiency compared to Gull. Will BP's 95 or 98 give better fuel efficiency than say Mobil's or Gull's 95 or 98 for my Toyota Crown?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks in advance,

Kind Regards,

Jai.

Hi Jai,
Our specs show that 95 octane is best for this vehicle, you can use 98 if no 95 is available. There really isn't one particular supplier of fuel that I would say is any better than another- it may come down to personal preference.
