I had an interesting experience with my Volvo S80.

At a warrant the garage replaced two tires. I normally do this and these were a different brand.

The interesting thing was over the next few weeks the l/100km went down by a litre.

Nothing else in my travelling habits or destinations had changed over that time. I can only put this down to less friction on the road.

Make sense?? I won't mention brands here.
