Is their a big advantage of using 93 instead of 91 in a 1993 toyota Corolla? Or is it a waste of money. One of my friends said it is like flushing the car out with purified water?

If the recommended fuel for a 1993 Corolla is 91 octane (which we are sure it is) then stick with it.

Not sure what your mate is talking about to be honest, a higher octane fuel (95) has no flushing benefits than we are awre of.
