Hi. I was advised a while ago to try 95 in my Mitsubishi Legnum after mentioning an annoying 'rumble' in the transmission when sat at about 1500 RPM. Since swithcing to 95 I have not noticed an improvement to the noise and no discernible improvement in fuel economy. My question is: should I persist with putting 95 octane in when it costs more and does not seem to improve economy or performance? Thanks.

If there is no noticeable improvement using 95 and 91 was used without any problems in the past, then switching back should be fine.
