We purchased a van on Saturday which was advertised on Trademe. We were told it had a WOF but when we got it home we noticed it had expired. We have now taken it for a WOF and it has failed on quite a few things. Where do we stand on this? Can we make the previous owner pay for the work needed to be done? I have contacted the previous owner who told me by text he thought it had one. He has now not returned my call. Thanks
