What is the legal size requirement for a motorcycle?

A motorcycle is a vehicle with an engine capacity over 50cc, has a power output greater than two kilowatts or has a top speed greater than 50 km/h.

A bike which is under 50cc, power output of less than two kilowatts and has a top speed less than 50 km/h is classed and registered as a moped.
