can i remover the from bumper and drive to a pleace to purchase another bumper and retrn home to fit new part

Hi there,
It would not be advisable to remove your front bumper as you may create a dangerous external projection that could affect pedestrian safety. This would also fail a wof, and as you have made your car unfit for the road, you risk be pulled over by the authorities.
Here is wording from the wof regulation for failure, " The risk of a component (Note 5) hooking a vehicle, or hooking or grazing a person, has not been minimised, eg a bonnet or bumper has been removed, exposing sharp, moving or hot components".
