5 new cars arriving soon in New Zealand

With the clean car rebate still in place for electric vehicles, New Zealand has become a hot destination for car manufacturers to sell their EVs.

Here are five vehicles that the AA team is excited to see arriving on NZ roads soon.

BYD has embraced a new ‘ocean aesthetics’ design concept to create the Dolphin, a stylish five-seater hatchback which will tempt anyone who’s been considering making the switch to an EV. Affordable and packed with safety features, the Dolphin has a futuristic aquatic-inspired interior, with a large touchscreen and wireless charging. Perfect for city driving and commuting, with 345L of boot space and fast charging.

The base model Dolphin (details below) has a range of 340km, with the option to upgrade to a larger 60.48kW blade battery that provides 427km range.
