Renowned Kiwi actress joins MG in brand ambassador role as marque’s celebration of Life commences

Renowned Kiwi actress Claire Chitham has partnered with one of the New Zealand’s fastest growing new vehicle brands, joining MG in a brand ambassador role.

As part of a strategy for the first quarter of the new year, the popular marque is embracing all things Life, so the new partnership is particularly apt considering Claire’s own journey.

Claire is best known for a variety of stage and screen roles over more than two decades. She’s best known for her work in Shortland Street and Outrageous Fortune. If you were a Shortland Street fan you may remember Claire for her onscreen romance with Nick Harrison, which was an engaging story with many twists and turns.

“In more recent times, due to my own health challenges, I’ve embarked on what could be referred to as my own path of self-discovery and wellness-led initiatives, so MG’s current focus on Life feels very appropriate,” said Claire.

“I am excited to be part of MG and look forward to being involved in celebrating Life with the brand and people involved with it.”

Peter Ciao, CEO, MG Motor Australia and New Zealand said, “We welcome Claire to the MG family.

“As she and many others have experienced, Life is unpredictable and not everything turns out according to plan. But Life can also be fun, exhilarating, exciting and beautiful.”

“We should always celebrate Life and recognise the things which make the day to day so much more enjoyable.”

As part of the MG Life initiative, any customer who buys a new MG in the first quarter of 2022 will receive a special commemorative gift with their purchase.
