Terms and conditions for the AA Member Voices Panel
By participating as a panellist you are deemed to have read and accepted the following terms and conditions:
1. The panel and prize draw is administered by the New Zealand Automobile Association Incorporated with its registered office at 99 Albert Street, Auckland, 1010 (the Administrator)
Use of Information
2. Your responses to panel questions will not be used in a way that may identify you to anyone other than the Administrator.
3. You may be identified to other panellists by initial, surname and postal region if you are a winner of a monthly draw prize.
4. You may be identified to the Administrator as a panellist for distributing any monthly draw prize you may win.
5. Your responses to panel questions may be retained by the Administrator between surveys so that all your answers can be used as a single record (for the purposes of research, analysis and accruing points towards prize draws), and may be retained after you exit the panel.
6. The Administrator may match your customer number to your address for the purposes of determining the geographic distribution of answers to the survey, but that any map reporting the results of the survey maintains your anonymity as per 2) above.
General
7. Your answers to panel questions must be truthful or truly your opinion.
8. You may exit the panel at any time by requesting your removal by the Administrator.
9. If you do not respond to any panel questions after six months you will be automatically removed from the panel.
10. The content of surveys is the property of the Administrator and any invitation to participate as a panellist is personal to you. Accordingly, you will not republish panel questions or pass on any invitations to participate in the panel to others.
11. You will not attempt to hinder or subvert the panel by attempting to undermine the integrity of the system or process by accessing panellist data, reverse engineering the site, blocking other panellists, or seeking to persuade panellists to your point of view.
12. You may complain about the panel, its questions or methods at any time to AAMemberVoicesAdmin@aa.co.nz
Monthly Prize Draw
13. Panellists who complete a survey in accordance with the above terms during the month will be entered into the monthly prize draw.
14. Prize is a $100 Visa Prezzy Card (8 – 10 prize draws to be conducted each month). Visa Prezzy Card Terms of Use apply https://www.prezzycard.co.nz/terms-conditions/
15. The Administrator will contact the winner via email with details of the prize redemption process.
16. Winners will be announced by email within 14 days of the end of the month for which that draw applies.
17. If the Administrator, having made up to 3 attempts to contact the winner, is unable to do so 7 calendar days after the announcement date, then the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.
18. If a winner does not to accept a prize, the prize will be forfeited and a further draw will be conducted from the remaining entries.
19. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot, whether in whole or in part, be redeemed for cash, transferred or exchanged, except at the Administrator’s sole discretion. All other expenses associated with the prize is the responsibility of the winner.
20. In determining the prize winners, the Administrator’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. The Administrator reserves the right, at any time, and in its sole discretion to:
21.1. disqualify any panelist reasonably believed to have breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct or any conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the prize draw;
21.2. cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw if it is not capable of running as planned for any reason;
21.3. provide a winner with an alternative prize (or part of a prize), of greater or equal monetary value and/or specification if for any reason a prize becomes unavailable;
21.4. take any action that may be available if for any reason, the Administrator is not able to conduct the prize draw as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, any technical difficulties or any other causes beyond the Administrator’s reasonable control, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion.
22. To the extent permitted by law, the Administrator:
22.1. assumes no responsibility for:
22.1.1. any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;
22.1.2. any entries not received for any reason during the prize draw period;
22.1.3. any variation in the value of a prize;
22.1.4. any tax liabilities that may arise from winning the prize;
22.1.5. any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way after it leaves its possession;
22.2. excludes all warranties in relation to the quality, suitability or merchantability of a prize; and
22.3. limits its liability, and that of its employees or agents, for breach of any rights a consumer may have to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
