Hi AA

I have a 2007 Honda Fit (jap import) it has a handful of clear films with wires coming off the windscreen.

Are these of any use in NZ or OK to remove? Where are the wires likey to be routed?

Also have this random little box on dash which appears to be routed to one of the above clear films?

There is also the GPS unit which is disconnected (jap one) I assume it's of no use in NZ? So might as well pull the speaker and unit for that. Is the mic for it worth leaving to plug into headset for handsfree?

It's hard to know exactly what these are used for, sometime they are the radio or TV aerials, Japanese toll payment units, or part of the GPS system.
Most of these things don't work and can be removed without causing trouble.
