Hi there
we are looking at upgrading our car, family of 4, 1 teenage son whos into mountain biking surfing etc, looking for something 2013+ , low kms and reliable, We have been looking at the toyota corolla fielder hybrid wagons - (i See most of these are imported as hybrids now) - I dont know a huge amount about Hybrids are their pros and cons with these cars? are the Fielders good cars? any known issues? any other suggestions for a station wagon or mid sized SUV with good reliability and reasonably cheap to run? budget around 12-13K

Hi there,
You might find the Fielder a bit small, as they are a smaller wagon. However Toyota hybrids are popular and generally reliable.
Vehicles like a Subaru Legacy, or Forester might be worth looking into.
Or a Mazda Atenza/6 wagon.
Mazda CX-5 Med SUV or Mitsubishi Outlander would be some of my picks if you could find one inside the budget.
